1981 Volkswagen Rabbit 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My friend recently bought a new car battery for her 1981 Volkswagon Rabbit. When she installed it and went to turn it on there was a buzzing noise inside of her car. Any responces would be gratefull thank you =)

the buzzing noise you are hearing is a relay that has a speaker underneath the dash on top of the fuse box, you will notice that it is very big, just unplug, it's related to your key in the ignition and your seat belt warning buzzer.
