i have a 1987 golf gti 8valve, and the car was moving just fine but alittle hard to put into first gear.lastnight i put some gear oil in the trans 75w-90,i went to drive the car in the morning and the trans seems like it is slipping now and my rpms are alittle to high for the speed of car, i pres the accelerator and the rpms go up and the trans isnt grabbing right away and moving like it should,now before i put the oil in the tranny seem to be dry--i put my finger in the hole and felt nothing---then i put a straw in and the straw came out dry aswell,what should i do nxt or do you have any recommendations. .........damion :twisted: :twisted:
