well i have a 1997 golf gti 2.0 . it started on the hwy i was driving along then the car just died. i pulled over tried to start the car and it would not start. well 2 hours later i got a ride back to the car and it started it ran for about 3 miles but it was real rich in fuel. my friend said there was a flame in the exaust pipe. then it died and i have not been able to get it to start again. there is no spark any where i checked the coil and the wires and so on and so forth. there is also no fuel the fuel pump dont even run. im not dumb i work on cars all the time but this has me boggled. thanks so much bigjeff
