Hey guys. I just bought a 2003 VW Jetta GLS 1.8T (mileage: 399474). two weeks ago...and I think I already have a problem. The night before last I noticed a sweet burning smell when I exited my car. The smell did not penetrate into the cabin, even when my AC was on. I soon noticed fluid on the ground under my car, however, it only tends to leak during and right after I drive. Approximately an hour to two hours later, it will stop leaking. I'm pretty sure it is coolant because it has a sweet smell, and does not give off any noticable fumes when I start, drive, or turn off the car. The car also does not have any trouble with overheating, and has not had any warning lights illuminate since I've noticed the problem. I have no idea what's going on, and I thought I'd ask you two to get a sense of what I was dealing with. Thanks!
