if you are referring to the shift lever not coming out of park then yes there is a switch. there is a recall out there to fix that if in fact that is your issue. if u need to get it out you can slightly turn your key towards on position but not all the way. lights on dash should still be off. then you push brake pedal down and put the lever between drive and nuetral you will have to hold there and then start car and put into gear then you should be able to go . good luck
