Electrical problem

My polo's driver side window goes down but only comes up a little bit. When you try to pull it up it goes bk down again.
What do i need to do to fix this???

does the motor struggle or does it just stop?

try manually applying power to the window and see if it goes up or down when polaritys are switched. if NOT then the motor is probably bad.
