1998 VW Jetta 4 Dr GL 5 spd 2.0 Rear widow regulator

I have purchased a new drivers side power rear window regulator. I need to know what is entailed to remove the motor from the bad regulator to the new one. Do I need special tools as well.

The only special tool you will need is a rivet gun. You will have to drill out existing rivets and install new ones. Good Luck.
