1998 jetta car alarm

u have to use the key in one of the door lock and or trunk
lock and unlock that should stop it
if not u have to take door jam off to reach the switch

Go to your local VW Dealer and have them remake another flip-key for you. It costs a whole 100.00 roughly and they can reprogram your keyless entry and everything. That would be your best solution, unless you want to repeatedly do the above suggestion, or disconnect the battery cable before and after exiting the vehicle, so the alarm doesnt engage. Not fun. :(
