1990 Other Volkswagen Models acceleration

My grandson's 1990 vw corrado G60 actually starts well and runs well, if you compare it to a non- supercharged model. Everyone familiar with the G60 says that the car should have significantly greater acceleration. What's up?

if your noticing a lack of power, but everything seems normall and runs just fine without the pep.

i would be checking the turbo out to see if it is functioning properly.
