I have a 72 v.w. type 111 fastback f.i. I took the fuel pump apart and cleaned it, runs good but doesn't pump gas. any ideas? also do they sell rebuild kits for it ?

I've got one idea, remove the fuel pump again, and make sure you did not damage it putting it back together and installing it those fuel pumps are not very expensive I would just replaced it.

holey $hit...............I would've got you a diaphragm for $12.00 Dollars, and if not I would have made you one from a inter tube, they don't call me MacGyver for nothing...........well I hope everything is okay, if you have any more issues let me know.
