What do the numbers in the picture stand for? If you pull the plug, won't the trans fluid come out? Thanks for any help

Hi chutes333,

1 is the plug.
2 is the level tube.
3, is filling tube.
4. is cap.

Removing the plug ( 1 ) would only allow excess fluid to flow out. To drain you need to remove level tube ( 2 ).

Item 4 has to be replaced if it is removed as it is locked.
