I just had my oil pan repaired for a leak back in June and an oil change through the dealership. I should not be due for another until Dec. 2010 or 5,000 miles, whichever occurs first. I am nowhere near 5,000 miles but my car is losing oil with no sign of a leak. The reason I know this is because it is the second time my car started making a ticking noise when my oil is much lower than it should be. If it's not a leak, what else could it be and why is the dealership not able to figure it out?
