Engine Performance problem
1999 Volkswagen Jetta 4 cyl Automatic 113000 miles
Last week I took my car to a repair shop to change the gas filter, the mechanic told me that he could not change it because he needed an special tool \to do that, I took the car to another place and they told me that when he was trying to remove tha gas filter he broke the clamp and stripped the gas line, the car is working good but it does not has the clamp that holds the line that go to the front of the car, he didn;t remove the other part of the filter that is connected to the line that go to the gas tank,it is not liking gas until now but I would like to know if the gas filter could leak or have another problem since it doesn;t have one of the clamps
