Electrical problem

I've had my Jetta for just under a year without any problems... recently when you signal left or right both signals will appear on the dash as if they were both on (If you signal left the left will blink as it should, but the right will also blink however a little faded compared to the signal that should be on). When you are signaling and press the brakes, both left and right aero’s will light up(solid) (I don't think the signal is working when I press the brakes). I've changed the flasher fuse and all the light bulbs... this seems to be an off/on issue- sometimes it happens, other times it won’t- however recently it has been happening 80% of the time.
