I replaced the entire clutch assembly last spring. My new problem is that when the car sits thru a cold night i come out the next morning and hardly have any play in my clutch. It is still firm of course. I can start it and drive and eventually as the car warms up it starts to shift easier until the point that it is normal as ever with tons of travel in the clutch. When the car is turned off it switches through gears easily, with or without the clutch engaged. Snick. Snick. Snick. This has happened in the past year but the problem has gone away after a day or two tops. Now it is persistent.

Hi there,

Thank you for the donation,

I would start with flushing and bleeding the hydraulic system, do this and report any change in the condition, also check closely for any signs of fluid weeping from the master or slave Cly. start here.

Thank you. I also thought it was a master/slave cylinder issue. Since the Hydraulic fluid was replaced and bleed with the clutch/brake work i did last year i highly doubt it is the fluid. It sure is a weird issue because now the weather is cold again and it works just fine. :)
