IM TRYING TO FIND OUT WHY MY TIRES IN THE REAR KEEP ON WEARING UNEVEN.IVE REPLACED THE REAR TIRES TWICE THIS YEAR,AND THE CAR MAKES A ROARING SOUND IN THE REAR.THE TIRES WEAR LIKE A ROLLER COASTER.A MECHANIC SAID THE RIMS ARE TOO HEAVY FOR MY CAR.THE SIZE IS 18"RIMS AND TIRES,ON A 2002 VOLKSWAGON GOLF 2.0L.THE ALIGNMENT HAS BEEN DONE SEVERAL TIMES AND THEY ARE STILL DOING THAT CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHY.

what you mean they wear like a roler coaster?

those are quite the large tires but that should cause uneven wear.

are the tires properly mounted/ rims not bent i hope.

they balanced and the back end aligned?

sounds like possible bad wheel bearing, trying putting on new tires of a smaller size and see how it goes, if it stops the wear, theres a issue with the tires. if not its not in the tires.
