Hello, I am having a problem with the power steering when I first hop in the car and move it at low speed. The steering is incredibly heavy and it feels like I am literally steering the wheels the no help from the system. However the problem solves itself once the car is at a reasonable speed. There is a slight "squeaking" or "rubbing" noise heard at low speed, I have checked the reservoir and it is above the MIN level but well below the MAX level. I'm hoping it simply needs a top up.

Hi there ,

i think that the belt tension may be loose, check this and top up the fluid, the slightly low fluid won't be your problem though.
