when i first get in its cold but not ice cold then it gets real hot like the heat is on.

then again i do live in a hot place so that doesnt help either

I think you are referring to the Air conditioning system, but not clear. Can you please elaborate on your problem and concerns.

yeah the a/c my bad. i dont know if its jus freon.

im tryin to pinpoint the prob. is there a known way to tast the a/c systems parts??

condensor,etc.....

The first step is to put a set of pressure gauges on it. The high/low side pressure readings will tell a lot about how the system is working.

If the freon is low, you'll need to find out why. That's when you'll need some sort of leak detection equipment.
