1992 Volkswagen Golf 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Hello, I need to replace my starter because sometimes when you turn the ignition to start, it just winds because the pinion doesn't make contact with the flywheel. Is this a hard job?

There is a bit of a snag. You have to remove the motor mount next to exhaust. So you need to support motor there is a special toll but place car on jackstands. place floor jack with piece of 2x4 to protect place on transaxle housing close to engine. Then remove mount and starter.
