The slowest setting for my windshield wipers, you know when the wiper swipes every thirty seconds (or whatever the timing is). Well it does not work, but the other more frequent settings do work.

Is that something simple enough that I can fix on my own?

Hello,

Well, review of the system shows you need tester VAG 1466 when troubleshooting windshield wiper/washer system. I am probably sure you do not have that sitting on your shelf.

So, my suggestion is if you would like I can review all the tests as it discusses different relays, fuses etc and based off of that and give you the best logical suggestion of what to replace which may be a relay then worst case scenario it may be the switch.

And I would be more than happy to attach the tests, but again you need the tester.

What would you like or prefer?

Four cylinder front wheel drive manual 146000 miles

Headlights, AC and wipers will not work, but if I flash my brights, everything turns on. There is a fuse, switch or relay? Please if this look familiar let me know. I really appreciate your help, thanks.

It was a faulty ignition switch. $30.00 for a part and an hour of work.
