i was driving and all of a sudden i hear my exhaust or something go louder and deeper. it sounds like it's coming right from under the car by the driver. and it almost sounds like a muffler thing or something. what could it be?

Hi there,

often a weld where the exhaust pipe enters the muffler can fail causing a loud noise and an exhaust leak, get this inspected asap as it is dangerous to you health for exhaust fumes can enter the cabin while driving.
