This is my first car with a turbo. Do I have to run a higher octane fuel, or can I run normal 87 octane?

Hi there,
you can run the lower grade fuel, if you opt for the higher octane the on board engine management systems will re tune the engine to optimum performance, your owners manual will advise on the most suitable fuel to use, check this as well or contact VW if you have any doubts.
