Engine Mechanical problem
2000 Volkswagen Beetle 4 cyl Automatic 117,00 miles

had white smoke , no oil , filled , then more smoke all oil out tailpipe. Mechanic indicates bad "turbo" gaskets wore out allowing oil to flow thru ... says to replace "turbo" start at around $ 2000 ....
is this a VALID repair ..
as I see parts for gasket etc... but no complete turbo.
