Brakes problem
1975 Volkswagen Beetle 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual
My dad built an SS100 jaguar Kit Car in 1980 on a VW beetle extended chassis. The kit came out of Buffalo NY.
It has disk brakes on the front and I have a problem of them seizing up. They always seem to drag so I try to avoid using them...... I do little driving of this car at this time. The right front seems to be the worse of the two. Once I use the brakes, they lock up it takes effort to get the wheels turning again.
I've replaced the pads.... even filed them down. Took the front calipers apart, but see no problem.
Any suggestions?
