that is going to be fun if you have never done one, the generator is hooked up to the cooling fan, you will have to start by removing the rear deck lid, then remove the carburetor and the intake manifold every thing that's in the way of the generator coming straight up, after you are done with that there are two bolts on the side of the cooling shroud, removed them bolts and the shroud with the generator attached will come straight up, then you will have to hold one end of the generator, while you remove the fan from the other, reverse process to install.
