I just bought a 1973 Super Beetle - I test drove it during the day so I didn't notice the dash lights not working - how do I replace them? Also the license plate light.

first, get john muir's book
"how to keep your volkswagen alive..."
then, following his procedures, check the fuses,
then the bulbs....
