1972 Volkswagen Beetle How to replace the rear brake shoes

I cannot get the nut holding the rear brake drums loose. What is the procedure to remove the rear drums on the 1972 beetle. Help please. Thanx.

Those baby's are torqued on @275lbs.A 1" breaker bar and snipe[lever]should get them loose.
