1972 Volkswagen Beetle Brake lights not working

When brakes are pressed fuse is blown. When brake is applied running lights dim.

Hi there,

you have as short between a brake light and the parkers, or a bad earth, pull one brake globe out and test , then the other side, this may isolate the side where the problem is, try this first.
