Need some advice, I have a 2.0tdci estate. When accelerating moderately or heavily the car shakes violently, doesn’t shake if pressing the clutch and rolling from accelerating, well start again once depressed and accelerating again. The steering wheel doesn’t shake, just the whole car. Under light acceleration it doesn’t shake at all. Any suggestions please?

This is typical when the engine needs a tune up. I would start by replacing the spark plugs and then service the throttle body. here are guides to help fix the problem and the instruction in the images below to show you how to do the job one your car. I would also replace the ignition coils they go out as well.

Original spark plug .................... AGSF22YPC
Replacement spark plug .................... AGSF22YPC

Gap - 1.25 - 1.35 mm (0.049 - 0.053 in)
Torque - 12 Nm (9 lb-ft)

Check out the images (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.

I asked about shaking on acceleration on a DIESEL ( hence 2.0 tdci) and this plonker has put something about spark plugs and ignition coils etc … I’ve been to a local garage and they’ve told me driveshafts or ball joints which is totally different to spark plugs etc on a diesel

Let's try this again, it sounds like you have bad CV axles which can cause this issue. Here is how you can change them out in this generic guide to help walk you through the steps and check out the images below on how to change them out on your car.
