First major issue. Car will start and run but when we go to switch the key to the off position the vehicle will stay running. The only way to shut it off is to start pulling fuses. Next thing noticed about it is, gas pedal give zero response, when removing foot from brake pedal the car starts going without any user input on gas pedal. It will gain speed until about 20 mph. Again pressing gas pedal does nothing for it. Any help as to a direction to start would be a huge help.

Hello,

This is common when the front control module goes out. To be sure lets do a CAN scan which is the future of automotive repair. you can get a CAN scanner from Amazon for about $50.00. here is a video to show you how:

Here are the instruction to replace the front power module in the diagrams below. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

Unable to locate this scanner for that price ($50.00) online. Also, the earlier stated problem, would that cause the car to not shut of when turning and removing the key? Or should I be looking toward the actuator on the ignition to be busted, maybe?

Thanks again.

How does the key feel when you turn in normal? if so I am still leaning towards the TIPM. Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so we can hear the noise? that would be great. You can upload it here with your response. That way we can see whats going on.
