Extremely Very loud noise coming from engine/exhaust, vehicle wants to die while idle or driving. I was driving about 30 mph when I felt like the car hold back while accelerating then the vehicle became very loud like a motorcycle. The rpm kept going real low when I coming to stop like there some sort of restriction.check engine light came on but turned off the next time I turn it on. I check engine oil, coolant, exhaust system doesn't have any visible damage. Catalytic converter seems fine I remove it form vehicle but there visible damage, spark plus check out fine. Do you think it could be a clogged cat? Or a blow head gasket?
