The vehicle listed above is a JRD mocel.

Served by two mechanics one a JRD mechanic from Japan.

Codes came up for ignition coil and o2 sensors.

Replaced:

4 engine mounts.
2 front hubs.
2 front barring.
All spark plugs.
4 ignition coils.
Reset computer. Checked idle 700 ish parked 555 in drive when warm
New brakes and rotors.

I got a trailer hitch installed and right after it was shaking. My drink was shaking visibly I could feel it in the steering wheel and floor.

The mechanic said it runs good and it's just old.

He could feel the shaking but didn't think it was a serious issue. My other cars and trucks don't vibrate

I feel like I'm going crazy.

Hi,

If I understand, the vibration started after having a hitch installed. Is that correct? If so, that is a tough one. When the hitch was installed, did they also install wiring?

It's a stretch, but something may have been touched with the fuel pump. There really isn't anything with the hitch or hitch wiring that would affect the engine.

Does it run normally other than the vibration?

Let me know.

It runs pretty good. Only when braked in Drive does it vibrates. If i let go of the brake it drives off pretty quickly. A 5kph

I put the Nissan in neutral and that seems to settle it at intersections.

While driving it doesn't shake, everything works pretty clean and sound.

If you are feeling the vibrating more in drive, then suspect it is an engine mount issue. If they wear down, you feel the engine vibration more throughout the vehicle.

I truly can't see how what was done has caused this. If you were experiencing issues when accelerating or driving (not idle), then I would check to see if any of the wiring was touched around the fuel pump, but even that is a stretch.

I wish I had a more concrete answer, but based on when it happens, it sounds like a mount issue.

Take a look at this link. It is to help install new ones, but you will see in the link the rubber portions that I'm referring to. They can collapse or simply dry out causing this to happen.

Let me know if you have other questions or if I can help in any way.

Take care,
