you will need to have the cars computer read for fault codes .. the CEL (check engine/emmissions light) is telling there is a fault ... when the car is plugged into a diagnostic scanner it gives a code .. the code tells us where the actual fault lies .. get the codes and repost for a better diagnosis and repair information
