Engine Mechanical problem

hi,i have a calibra turbo(c20let)engine.today i started it and the tappets sounded really rattly,i turned the car off and checked in the oil filler cap and i saw that the cams and the inside the cam cover were bone dry.i got plenty off oil in the sum,but i got no oil getting to the cylinder head.can any one help me please
