The offside rear brake squeaks when driving but if the pedal is lightly pressed, not actually braking, the noise stops. Any suggestions, please.

check both front/rear caliper pistons sounds like one side is starting to jam up (stick)

when you touch ther brake pedal no matter how lightly it pushes fluid down the lines and against brake pads ... if you are sure it is the rear it could be a wheel bearing .. but i would check the pads first ..

HI I HAVE EXACTLY THE SAME PROBLEM, THE OFFSIDE REAR WAS SQEAKING WHEN I DROVE THE CAR HOME FROM BUYING IT, I CHANGED THE REAR PADS AND THE SQUEAK WENT AWAY FOR ABOUT 4000MILES NOW IT IS BACK. THE REAR WHEEL ALSO GETS QUITE WARM AFTER ABOUT HALF HOUR OF DRIVING, ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE
