will a 2.5td omega engine fit straight into my astravan 1.7dti without changing the gearbox and wiring

No .. the engine mounts will be the first obstacle .. then maybe the gearbox is different depending on the year of the donor car ... then the PCM (computer) settings will all be different ... the wiring may be different ... ?? etc. etc.
