Hi there, I have a VAUXHALL ASTRA LS CDTI 16V (1686cc DIESEL, 5 Door HATCHBACK) 83000 miles which has just recently started overheating. It's never gone higher than 90 degree c in the past and the cooling fan rearly kicked in but recently even on short journeys the temp has gone well above 90'c and the fan is always kicking in. I've checked the coolant reservoir and it's filled to just over the cool level which the owners manuel states is correct. There are no leaks of any kind I've checked at least 3 times a day as I'm getting worried about it now. On the way home today on the motorway I had to stop twice as the car was overheating, I lost all power and the temp gauge was in the red so had to stop and let it cool down for 30 mins.
