In your opinion, is it common for Alternator, Ignition Switch, Battery and Starter motor to all need seplacing at the same time?
CAr cut out dead in traffic and would not start. Had it taken to a dealer/repair shop and they did a test on Battery - dead, so it was rplaced - car still wouldnt start - so they replaced the starter motor, The car then started but was not holding charge - so the replaed the alternator - this cost me £750 .. am I being taken for a ride or is there truth in the parts all being defective all at the same time?
