2002 Vauxhall Astra Broken rear spring

Bottom coil on rear spring has broken. This is a common problem on vauhalls, i am told. There doesn't appear to be much involved with changing this? Is it as straightforward as it looks? I assume i wil need spring compressors? Thanks
