Hi,
I bought a car 6weeks ago and now the head gasket has gone as well as the EGR valve.The engine light came on the afternoon i bought it but the man i got it from said if it happened again to let him know - it didnt until the head gasket blew. Can build up in the EGR valve cause the head gasket to blow?
Also on this type of car how frequently should the head gasket be replaced? and are there any warning signs of the head gasket going that the mechanic who sold it to me could have overlooked?
