i need to know how to change valve cover gaskets. how many gaskets on the car and if you have a diagram to show me to go by? would it be expensive to have a mechanic do the job?

Your engine uses two valve cover gaskets. Be aware these are a molded rubber gasket. Very often minor oil leaks can be solved by tightening the valve cover bolts a little.
