Can someone send me specs for replacing valve cover gaskets, tightening pattern, torq,and general layout? The car listed above is 2.4 liter sedan.

I was reading the info you sent for me and i got worried about the word camshaft. i'm guessing these front wheel drive cars with dual overhead cams, covers are almost same as valve covers on old school Chevrolet's. do i loosen the bolts with the same tightening pattern you sent me? thanks, rogermm65.

So i start at number 10 in my dismantling process of the bolts and number 1 for reassembling the bolts. Right? Thanks. Any chance of a diagram listing parts shown names?

I just looked at that again. I don't know why it tells you to use the reverse order and then they numbered them the same as assembling. I suspect that is a mistake. You are fine either way. The point of this is to not relieve all the torque from one side then the other or it will warp it. If you got side to side as it shows you will be fine. So if you want to go 10 -1 or follow the picture and go 1-10 you will be fine either way.

Yeah. That would be fine. You only need to use assembly lubrication (grease) when installing new parts because they need to break in. Basically they are new parts and need to seat themselves in. When reinstalling the same parts they have already been broke in so just oil will be fine to keep it from metal on metal until the oil pump primes the system.

Haha. Feel free to keep them coming. No they do not need thread locker. Some people add the blue thread locker just to be sure but if torqued properly, you do not need it.
