Valve cover torque specs?

Please start a new thread for the vacuum pump torque specs, the specs for the valve cover is:

15 nm or 11 lb ft.

Okay. Do you know the sequence for the valve cover bolts?

Okay do you know the internals of this valve cover? A piece of the check valve or the only pcv valve that doesn't have a 5 point bolt it's push and click type fitting. We'll it broke when I was pulling the valve out and shattered into a few pieces and one piece fell into my valve cover potentially.

Just a 2mm by 7 mm part of the green clip that holds this valve in place.

Is it safe to run like this?
Will it stay in the baffling of the valve cover if it is in there.

I took the valve cover off and replaced the gaskets and the orifice valve and I tried blowing compressed air into the baffling but nothing came out of the valve cover so I figured it might not be in there

Hmmm, that is difficult to say, anytime something foreign is inside the engine is not good, the plastic can work its way down into the oil pump pick up, I would try my best to find the piece. I might be stuck inside the baffle and be okay but I would not bet my engine on it.

How should I try getting it out I tried vacuuming and using compressed air

So should I take the valve cover off again and try harder to get it out? Would I need to buy a new set of gaskets? I only torqued the new ones and the engine hasn't run since its been torqued down.

If I can't find it should i just drop the oil pan in a month or so and see if it's there?

Also, should I buy new gaskets or is the new ones I just put in good still. I haven't driven the car since replacing the valve cover gaskets but I torqued them down

The gasket should be okay then.
