what is the code????

A friend that is a mechanic went into codes and told me it was my Egr valve code I don't have the code but he said there is a way to clean out the system into where the valve is and will get new gasket for it I want to no what to use to clean out the carbon build up

there are a few egr codes and some have nothing to do with cleaning the system. thats why I ask.

anyway, 2 plus 2 is a good product to use
