Vacuum hoses

I changed the top head of my car, but I am getting really hard in connecting back all the vacuum hoses that are right under the engine between the firewall and the engine.

Please is there any way I can go about this.

Here is the diagram. They are a tight fit back there. I generally use whatever tool allows me to hold the lines and push them on. Things like long hose pliers, pieces of wire whatever.
