clutch master cylinder

First we did the flywheel, clutch-plate and throw-out bearing, it seemed we had solved our car problem. Then about tow weeks later it stopped shifting into gear while car is on. Goes into all gears in neutral. So tore down again, (saturn sl1 clutch work is tremendously mind blowing excessive BS).
Checked flywheel clutch-plate throw-out bearing, cleaned and put it all back together again. Darn! not fixed. So replace complete clutch master cylinder (sealed system). It now has a stiffness in pedal, like something is "binding" up in there. I have watched whatever YouTube tutorials trying to find the answer. It appears it is always the same answers. Tried pedal adjustments, etc.
My question is this, should the clutch "fork" be able to be engaged/disengaged by simply using my fingers to move it?
One more, what ever else could it be? A new car? wink wink, not today. Anyways any help with the new parts i have would be much appreciated like ASAP!
Makes noise when pedal is.

Are you talking about taking the clutch fork on and off the ball in the clutch housing? If so that is not difficult to do by hand. Also, so when you press the clutch pedal in you hear a noise? If so sounds like something is up with your throw out bearing and or clutch fork itself. Those clutches are not that complex there pretty simple actually. So you bought a clutch kit with clutch disc, throw out bearing and pressure plate? Also what brand clutch kit did you buy?

okay no, I probably worded that question wrong. I am trying to find the reason after replacing the flywheel, clutch plate and throw-out bearing my car worked just fine for like two weeks, then it just stopped. So I tore into it again, throw-out bearing had oily gunk all over it. The clutch-plate/flywheel seemed fine, so cleaned it up put it back together only to be let down. It shifts when car is off, when car is on it is making a 'squealing' noise, then it stops when I push in the clutch pedal, however will not go into gears at all. So I replaced the clutch master cylinder. I could tell as soon as I put my foot on the clutch to start the car, that it had not helped. It feels like something is 'binding up' at the clutch-fork. Does this sound like I should replace the clutch-fork? Can it come off of that 'ball'? Thank you very much, apologize for not explaining better.

Yes, the fork can come off the ball and throw out bearing out of place. From the noise makes me think something is not in place correctly that will effect proper release of the clutch.
