A friend and I were looking at the wiring setup for the radio, when we unplugged the wires from the back of the radio and as we plugged them back in exactly as they were unplugged the upper display for the 2006 B9 Tribeca stopped showing all information (i.e. radio stations, volume, cd track, song time) what could have gone wrong and how can I fix this issue

Start by checking the fuses. There will be two. One is for the clock and station preset memory and one is the switched power. The memory fuse will be tied in with some other circuit that is always live such as the interior lights, horn, or something like that. A lot of imports also have a fuse plugged into the back of the radio. If the sound works and it holds the station, there could be a problem in the radio with the display, but if it's totally dead it could be in anti-theft mode and will need to be unlocked by the dealer.
