I'm trying to do a junkyard project with LM7 engine. I assembled the piston and the rods without marking the numbers on them but I still know which one is right side and left side. My question is, can I put them in any order? If that's not possible what is my option? because if I need to buy a new one do I need also to buy a new crank shaft?By the way I'm trying to add a small Turbo and 50-100shot Nitrous. Not too crazy ^_^.

Good morning,

You are entering the world of high performance with a turbo and nitrous.

In order to do that, you need to replace the crank, rods and pistons with steel construction due to the high amount of pressure from the turbo alone.

That will require stripping to a bare block and having it bored out and fitted with new pistons, steel rods and a steel crank.

Right now, you have cast iron crank and rods. If you leave them in, the crank will snap in half and the rods will bend and most likely take out the block as well.
