Son's truck had bad starter (would not do anything) and he changed it. Now it turns over fine but will not start. Has fuel and pressure but no spark. Looked for damaged wiring around the starter and battery (main areas we were working) and found nothing.
Two final notes, security light turns off after a second or so of switch being on; also oil and temperature gauge seem not to move.

The starter is close to the crankshaft angle sensor it sounds like you bumped the connector or damaged the sensor. Here is a guide and video that will show you what to look for:

He changed the sensor and noticed one of the wires going to the plug was bad and that fixed it. Thanks for the help.
