Hi I have a 2003 expedition with 127000 miles on it.just bought from private party.been doing some work on it.can't figure out why it is making a noise while turning. does not do it nearly as bad when in neutral. On an incline,if we r moving in gear u can hear it.almost like a rubbing, not grinding.pit it in neutral, its almost non existent. But when I'm driving straight, nothing.works fine.another guy and I lifted it,checked rotation of tires.checked how tight the wheel was on.bearings seamed fine.ball joints seamed fine.and driving down the highway it's great. Checked the u-joint coming out of transmission, there is a little play. Any ideas?
